#jamuary day 31 - dust. The final jamuary submission of 2025. It’s been a fun month and I’ve enjoyed participating as ever. It’s always a reminder to me that, despite what the algorithms tell you, and Spotify and co might lead you to believe, there is a world of wonderfully creative people and fantastic music out there to enjoy. I’ve heard and linked up with some wonderful musicians over the last month and have been blown away by some of the performances. I’m lucky to have this as a hobby, but I’m also aware that for many out there music is their livelihood and it’s getting harder and harder to make a living from it. I guess it’s a reminder to me and others to support the great artists you come across on here and other platforms by buying their stuff on bandcamp or visiting a show if you are able. Also for those that dont know already, check out @lonetapes fantastic podcast #didsomebodysayambient - it’s an amazing source of under the radar ambient music.
