Он отказался давать показания, использовав статью 51 Конституции РФ (согласно этой статье никто не обязан свидетельствовать против себя). 12 апреля журналиста второй раз допросили в Следственном комитете. Roman Anin, the editor-in-chief of IStories, a Russian independent investigative media outlet, was brought in for a late-night interrogation on April 9, 2021, after an extensive raid and search of both his home and IStories’ editorial office. He refused to give testimony, as is his right provided by Article 51 of the Russian Constitution, which states that nobody is obliged to testify against themselves.
He was interrogated again on April 12 at the Investigative Committee, Russia’s main federal-level investigative authority. Roman Anin and his lawyer Anna Stavitskaya explain what investigators asked them about and potential developments in the case.
