Angus Young was born on March 31, 1955, in Glasgow, Scotland, and emigrated to Australia as a child. He left school at 15, working in various jobs before dedicating himself to music.
He and his brother Malcolm founded AC/DC in 1973. Young has been the only continuous member of the band since its inception.
Known for their energetic performances, their trademark school uniform look, and their own version of Chuck Berry's "duck walk".
The band has released numerous hits, such as "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black", the latter of which became the second best-selling album in the world. AC/DC have received numerous awards, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Young has a distinctive playing style that incorporates blues elements, country music, and power chords. He always uses Gibson SG guitars.
Young was known for his stage tricks, such as dancing on stage and interacting with the audience, which made his performances unique.
