The Forty Five Kings are pleased to present the first mix in our Brand New 'Label Special' series of mixtapes.

This is where we ask members who run record labels that release 7" vinyl records to make a mix featuring their own releases.

For this one, I am super happy to present a mix from Toby Gee out of Brisbane, Australia, who is one half of the Take Fingz label with Deejay Katch.

It's an incredibly good label with a true old skool hip hop esthetic, run by 2 guys deep in the game and who know how to bring a party to a 45!

With 7 releases to date and with each upping the quality and party stakes, this label will continue to grow and prosper.

Toby Gee has this to say about his mix:

'I’ve been wanting to do another mix for the crew, so this was a great opportunity to contribute to the dope member mixes and showcase the label. The aim has always been to release enough music to do a mix, and it was fun to try and weave them together to make a cohesive mix. I've adjusted song structures using two copies, to give a fresh take on some tracks.'
