"Fog Ahead" is the second single from Kutiman's upcoming ""Dreams In Aspamia"" EP. The track, a melding of downtempo, cinematic funk and jazzy hip-hop beats, unfolds with slick drums, suspenseful bass lines, and psychedelic wah-wah guitars. Soon, mysterious strings and sinister flutes join, conjuring an alternative soundtrack to a hallucinogenic chase scene in a cryptic 70s occult thriller. As it nears its end, it shapeshifts into a final beat-less, floating, meditative outro. For fans of Badbadnotgood, Curtis Mayfield-style instrumentals and A Tribe Called Quest boom bap grooves.
