Pas très connu par chez nous en France, ce combo de Virginie occidentale a été fondé en 2000. Il faut dire aussi que @ByzantineTV, mené par le guitariste/chanteur Chris Ojeda, a splitté à plusieurs reprises (2008, 2010) à cause de tensions au sein du line-up, et changé de label, signant avec les fameux @metalbladerecords pour le précédent disque The Cicada Tree en 2017. Nos Yankees ont aussi évolué artistiquement avec le temps, se tournant aujourd'hui davantage vers un thrash/groove metal progressif de plus en plus sophistiqué et diversifié. Avis aux amateurs de TOOL, KARNIVOOL, CORONER, VOIVOD, PAIN OF SALVATION, mais aussi de LAMB OF GOD et PANTERA !
