Huge thanks to all the 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 who spend time at Save vigils comforting the animals and recording their last moments on the way to their deaths.
One day this will be a horror story from the past, only seen in history books. Until then, and even then, I salute you all x

With regard to the two industry standard methods of killing seen in this video:

Most pigs, including those raised as 'free range', are killed in carbon dioxide gas chambers. This method of killing is regarded as 'best practice'. The industry tells the public that gas chambers are a humane slaughter method and wants us to believe that the pigs gently fall asleep, however nothing could be further from the truth.

When carbon dioxide reacts with liquids or mucus coated membranes (like that of the eyes, nostrils, sinuses, throat, and lungs), it forms carbonic acid. From their first lungful of gas, these pigs are burning from the inside out.

Pigs have the intelligence of 3 year old children and are smarter than dogs and as you can see they are most definitely aware of the pain they are in and the panic they are suffering.

Bacon has been classified as a Level 1 Carcinogen by the World Health Organization (WHO) on the same level as tobacco smoking and asbestos.

Many of the unwanted male calves produced by the dairy industry are simply shot on site or have their heads caved in with hammers to save money.

Cows in non kosher and non halal slaughterhouses are 'stunned' prior to having their throats slit using a stun gun as seen in this video. I have shown you a very sanitized version of what is normally performed on a conveyor belt which kills 45 or so cows per hour. As the cows do not want to die they struggle and as a result the bolt can often miss crushing their skull and take out an eye. Many have their throats slit whilst still fully conscious.

There is no pre-stunning for kosher and halal animals.

Cows are pretty intelligent animals, I have seen videos of them opening bolted farm gates by releasing the bolt and of them performing memory tasks. Like pigs they have feelings, family and friends.
