“The Ruin” was the first track I wrote. Pure Dungeon Synth, raw and slow.
But the deeper I went, the more I leaned toward what I grew up on — classical and folk music. My grandmother was a folk and opera singer in the USSR, so it’s in the blood.
⠀
So came “Fortress Debauchery” — a turning point.
This is the moment I realized I wasn’t making Dungeon Synth. I was making Dungeon Folk.
⠀
Slavic melodies, Arab scales, Asian pentatonics. Gritty sound like you’re hearing it from an old VHS tape in a muddy medieval town.
⠀
The full-length album is on the way.
Thanks for listening.
