For this edition of Ruido Apartamento, we’re presenting Yayo.Yayo has become a cornerstone of Spain’s Capital, gracing its most iconic booths. Born in Touro (A Coruña), his journey started at the legendary Dona Dana, with a passion for records and DJing. At 25, he moved to Madrid and quickly established himself at venues like Nasti, Sala El Sol, Siroco, and a regular at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona.
In 2014, Yayo and his brother Eloi founded El Cuerpo del Disco, a project that earned him residencies at Café Berlín and Sala Villanos. Beyond his residencies, Yayo has shaped Madrid’s club culture as the organizer of Cuerpo a Cuerpo and co-organizer of La Casa del Ácido.
Yayo’s sessions are a journey through classic disco and boogie, cutting-edge house, tropical sounds, acid, deep, and trance. His dynamic and boundary-pushing sets make every performance unique.
