Episode five of The Solo Barndo Build. I show you how to create and overhang jack and also walk through an easy way to layout and prep all your purlins.

The Cedar plan is thoughtfully designed to maximize space and cost efficiency, without sacrificing function! This open-concept plan features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with plenty of space to add another bedroom and/or bathroom upstairs. A large 8′ kitchen island, feature fireplace, and charming wrap around porch come together to make this home feel cozy and welcoming. The Cedar plan provides an economical structure with 14′ sidewalls and a vaulted ceiling upstairs, helping reduce building costs by utilizing a “one and a half” story design.
