For this cinematic ambient horror film music, I was looking to use the Lyra-8 with its pitch sequence ostinatos that can happen when you assign the LFOs to FM. Changing the speed of the LFOs changes the intensity of the ostinato to be faster or slower without changing the pitch, as long as the mod knob stays in one place. I find the best way to use the Lyra8 is to just follow the sound and have no predetermined destination. This one came out sounding very appropriate for a horror movie, especially with the fantastically ugly low bass notes.
