Speak Out encourages young people from throughout the country to air their views about topics and issues that matter to them. Introduced by John Craven.
Today's topic is to do with the rise of personal computers - why is the computer boom seemingly leaving girls out? With women and girls estimated to account for just one in 13 home computer users, it is feared that microprocessors are fast becoming male-dominated machines. It seems that girls are not taking much interest in the computer revolution. Is this really true, will it harm their future prospects? If so, what can be done about it?
With special guests Judith Hann and Ian McNaught-Davis.
