How to add smoke in Fusion:

Removing backgrounds in Fusion can be really easy. Footage that was shot on a black background is as simple as using a different apply mode in your merge node!

Roughing in the smoke to our cowboy shot is as easy as selecting "screen" in our apply mode drop down and the entire background goes away, but the smoke remains.
