Experimental jungle music I was making many moons ago. This time it's not a tutorial video. Got really fed up with making jungle :) Miss doing other stuff too. This track I made in 2010, at the time I was still in to experimental breaks and interesting melodies. I don't know how to write melodies like that anymore. Everything made in Cubase VST32 mostly using Kontakt and an ABL3 for tb 303 sound. Exported every part as a stem, then messed up a lot in Sound Forge and put all back together in Cubase. If I remember correctly, I mixed it using waves SSL channel strips on every channel. I am still trying to make regular boring jungle tracks with my hardware set-up, but I feel like I have totally run out of ideas and inspiration, I stuck in it for way too long, I believe I made some great tracks with my Akai Tracks Vol. 2, Voices of Jupiter and Surfaces albums. There's also a good chunk of tracks that have been signed by few labels to come out on vinyl, but other than that - I am absolutely bored from jungle and I need to dwell in to different techniques for making different music again. By the way - this track was self released on my Bandcamp in 2012 as a digital download. I wanted this to be a 2 track 7" record, but hey - doing vinyl myself always felt like throwing money in to the wind. But nonetheless I made some vinyl mock-ups for pleasing aesthetics :)
