Borden was a wealthy young man who gave up the american dream for the cause of Christ. After seeing souls across the globe Borden was compelled by the love and gospel of Jesus Christ to go preach the gospel to those who did not have the same kind of access to the Bible or preaching as he did. William Borden is famously quoted as writing in his Bible, "No reserves, no retreats, no regrets."
