Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Rolling through the jungle, sweat's pouring down,
Heart racing, honey, this hell is a battleground
Boots in the mud, voices call in the night,
Agent O's coming baby, get your head on tight.
(Chorus)
War machine...
Keep ya nose clean...
Bong Son Bomber...
When the jungle shoots back, you know its on, yeah!
(Verse 2)
Napalm stings the air, can’t escape this fire,
Eyes wide open, tangled in the wire,
Blood on my hands, dirt smudged on my face,
In this twisted game, there's no saving grace,
(Pre-Chorus)
Runnin’ through the flames, no way back now,
Every step forward, I'm under attack now,
Its a fever dream baby and I'm the sandman
The fire's comin, its too late to pack now
OWWWW!
(Chorus)
War machine...
Keep ya nose clean...
Bong Son Bomber...
When the jungle shoots back, you know its on, yeah!
(Bridge)
No second-guessing, gotta keep it straight,
Just a war machine now, can’t hesitate.
I'm Runnin'...
Yeah I'm Runnin'....
I'm Runnin' honey....
YEOW!!!
(Chorus)
War machine...
Keep ya nose clean...
Bong Son Bomber...
When the jungle shoots back, you know its on, yeah!
Cyna Hadum, named for Cerberus of Greek mythology, was an intense and fast paced act to explode out of the wake of the US involvement in the Vietnam War in 1973. Following Tim Watts (Johnny Savage) draft and return from his tour in Vietnam, and the resulting break up of Johnny Savage in 1972, Watts joined Frankie Brannigan and Mitch Conway, two talented British musicians who were craving a heavier and grittier sound to their rock. Cyna Hadum's debut album "American Argos" references the encroaching and watchful eyes of the American government post-Vietnam, its namesake being the many eyed monster of Greek mythology. Watts was believed to be resentful towards the US government upon returning home, particularly politicians, and quickly left the States to begin pushing boundaries with his new bandmates across Europe, before returning home again to record.
