Hi guys.

I've had sinus congestion for about 3 weeks now and it's kept me from making videos, but I'm tired of waiting. I have things to say.

So, I told myself to choose an easy song that would only use my lower register (higher notes require airflow through the sinuses). "Pick an easy song," I said. "Only do one verse and chorus."

Well, as you can see, I didn't do that. (I did only do about half of the song, though.)

I'm an idiot and chose one of Guns 'N' Roses' most vocally challenging songs.

Truth is, I had to sing a song that expressed the grief I feel watching the drums of war thrumming out once more. My initial instinct was to write something, but I've been pushing my original songs for a while and needed to do a cover.

This one was on my list...and honestly, I have a tendency to choose difficult things. Even when my voice isn’t 100%.

I hope you enjoy this, but more importantly I hope you hear the words. War does not benefit us. Ever. Yet, us everyday folks are always the ones dying and paying the price for the poor decisions of our "leaders."
