Everyone uses delay effects in mixing, but do you use them like this? These are a couple of my favourite techniques that I use during the final mix down of pretty much every track, creating life behind the recording.
By using parallel FX busses, I am able to create subtle ambience & movement in the background of the song or performance.

The example here is recorded on a Tascam 688, but this would work in the analog and digital world alike.

The music was a Jam I did last week, synchronising a guitar loop pedal to my Korg Electribe 2 Sampler. I'll upload the full thing at some point.
