Saturday Night Live Chicago Dance Party 1987. Acid Trax, Dancemania, DJ International: Acid House was developed in Chicago on the Roland TB 303. England embraced Chicago hood music and created their own version of the Acid House scene in 1989. Public Enemy used the same TB 303 in 1987 to develop G-Funk on WBAU in Long Island, NY ref. Spectrum City.
