Gaming on a gaming monitor vs a TV is somewhat a personal preference. For me I always like to play competitive games like shooters and fighting games on a monitor because i find im much more alert when im at my desk vs sitting on the couch playing on TV. But for casual games like story driven ones, I MUCH prefer gaming on a TV because I feel it’s a much more immersive experience, and I get to relax more. Just be sure that the TV has high refresh rates and low response time/input lag so that you can get the best experience when gaming.
