Ableton Live 12.2 just dropped some incredible new tools — and they’re perfect for French house.

In this video, we’ll build a full French house track using Expressive Chords and the redesigned Auto Filter in the Live 12.2 beta. With just a single key press, Expressive Chords generates lush, MPE-enabled chord progressions that break free from the limits of traditional keys and scales. It’s fast, intuitive, and perfect for expressive, groove-based music.

We’ll also dive into the revamped Auto Filter — a classic Live effect with a fresh new look and sound. We'll look at the new filter types like Vowel, DJ, and Comb, and take control with real-time modulation visuals, enhanced mixing controls, and precise shaping tools.

🎛️ Auto Filter is upgraded in Live 12.2 and coming soon to Move and Note.
