Some rare early footage of Saxon Sound MCs performing live : Papa Levi, Daddy Colonel, Tippa Irie, Miss Irie, Rusty, Junior Sandy - as well as guest MCs including Demon Rockers from Unity Sound.....
The riddims are played by Java Nuclear Sound on the stageshow - and at the beginning of the video you see a a short clip of Bobby Joe deejaying on Gemi Magic Sound....

This rare & exclusive video footage was kindly provided by my good friend Ruff House from South London. Ruff House is an absolute legend when it comes to vintage Reggae sound tapes & videos. Starting nearly 15 years ago he regularly used to upload tapes onto a website called 'Dancehall Reggae.com' (DHR) - from his vast archive.The majority of the UK vintage soundtapes and some videos that you see online today on YouTube, Soundcloud, Mixcloud etc were taken from his original uploads all those years ago from DHR. Even though this is the case, Ruff House has always shunned the limelight for any recognition of this and remains a humble man.Ruff House regularly contributes on the 'Bring Back de Original Saxon Crew' Facebook page.
I even had to try to convince and persuade him to allow me to put his name on this video to give him the recognition he quite rightly deserves !!
