Cities across the globe lit up well-known landmarks and raised the Ukraine flag or it's colours Friday as the world marks one year of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.From Rome's Colosseum to Paris' Eiffel Tower and the buildings of the European Union headquarters in Brussels, the blue and yellow of Ukraine shone brightly even as battles continue to rage on in the eastern European country.
The Ukrainian flag was also raised atop the German Parliament in Berlin and outside Toronto City Hall in Ontario, Canada, joining allies globally in a show of solidarity.
