On this video of our Van Build Series, we show you how we built and installed our kitchen and the materials we used to do so.

TILE:
Lifeproof Waterproof Rigid Core Vinyl Plank Flooring (Home Depot)
Color: Walton Oak

CABINET FRAMING:
Our cabinet framing measurements were based on the space we had between the fridge and the shower. We didn’t follow or make a blueprint. Everything was measured and created for that spot. The cabinets will have 2 pull our drawers that will sit behind the doors, and shelves to hold our necessities.
We also left enough room in the walk way not only for us but to also put the dogs bed & travel crate, this space will also serve as a sleeping area if we ever have company!

UPPER CABINETS:
Considering cabinetry is really not our thing, we found a gentleman on Etsy who has the tools and resources to build upper cabinets for the VanLife community. After calling and speaking with him, he was willing to build upper cabinets to our specific measurements!
Everything was packed with so much care, all the hardware was included, and it was a quick and efficient shipment/delivery!
This was hands down THE BEST PURCHASE WE HAVE MADE ON OUR VAN!! Lol

BUTCHER BLOCK COUNTERTOP
We purchased our countertop from Home Depot. We had to cut it to our specific length as well as cuz out the spaces for the induction stove top, sink, & faucet.
In order to seal the counter top we used 2 coats of Polyurethane Clear Gloss Stain which we purchased from Walmart.

LOWER CABINETS:
Doors: 3/4 Sande Plywood (cut to our specifications)
Paint Color: Behr Antique White (Interior/Exterior Semi Gloss High Enamel)
Door Locks/Knobs: Purchased off Amazon see link below. (Used on both our upper & lower cabinets)
