-- ENG -- In the heart of winter, here is the ideal music to listen to: HESPERIA and its superb eighth album with a totally pagan and epic spirit. It's called Black Medieval Winter over the Sibylline Mounts. But its original title in Italian is Fra li Monti Sibillini as told to us in a video interview (very rare !) by its leader Hesperius, singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. One man band since 1997, in the lineage of SUMMONING, LIMBONIC ART, or many other obscure and atmospheric black metal studio projects, HESPERIA has built its own style, comes from the legends of the local heritage. This new opus is certainly the most accomplished and the most professional to date. This is a purely local work therefore, shaped in the misty mountains of Sibylline, in the magnificent region of Marche in Italy, between mountains and seas. A big thank you to Hesperus who made the effort to answer us on video, while keeping a part of the mystery, because music is more important than a face...

-- FR -- Au coeur de l'hiver, voici la musique idéale à écouter : HESPERIA et son superbe huitième album à l'esprit totalement pagan et épique : Black Medieval Winter over the Sibylline Mounts. Mais son titre original en italien est Fra li Monti Sibillini comme nous l'a conté en interview (rare !) son leader Hesperius, chanteur, compositeur et multi-instrumentiste. One man band depuis 1997, dans la lignée des SUMMONING ou de bien nombreux autres projets black metal obscure et atmosphérique, HESPERIA possède son propre style qu'il a construit à travers les âges et légendes du patrimoine italien. Ce nouvel opus est certainement le plus abouti et le plus professionnel à ce jour. Il s'agit là d'une oeuvre purement locale donc, façonnée dans les monts brumeux de Sybille, dans la magnifique région des Marches en Italie, entre montages et mers. Un grand merci à Hesperus qui a fait l'effort de nous répondre en vidéo, tout en gardant une part du mystère, car la musique importe plus qu'un visage...
