Here are 3 menu red flags that need to go away in 2025. 

1. Boneless Wings
Wings have bones, guys, and that's how it's supposed to be. 

If you want to have chicken tenders or chicken nuggets on your menu, I'm all for it, but stop calling them "boneless wings". 

2. Fake Meat
Vegetarian guests deserve to have more options they can eat at restaurants other than fake meat or salads. 

Settling for fake meat rather than taking the time to make a flavorful, nutritious meatless menu item is f*cking lazy. 

3. Rainbow Bagels
This one just boggles my mind. Why do we feel the need to add so much unnecessary food coloring to things? 

If I bite into a bagel and all I can taste is food dye, it's going right in the trash. 

Food should be a celebration of flavors that cooks enjoy making and guests enjoy eating. 

These menu items fall way short of that mission.
