
I have always referred to this style of lever lock as cam over but I am not sure that is entirely accurate. The lever has to swing past the apex point of the tension generated so that the load tension holds the lever against the stop.
These lever chain binders are adjustable for just the right amount of tension desired by lengthening or shortening the hook.
I made these to secure compressed gas cylinders to my welder cart.
