This is a 5 minute 'against the clock' challenge, for Hardware Jams.

The setup is relatively self generative. The Digitone is sequenced from Fugue Machine via the iPad, the Pro 3 from Mutable Instruments Marbles, and the Peak is running through Mutable Instruments Beads for the continuous textured loop, with the final stage passing through Data Bender.

Drums from Syntakt, on channels 1-8, are being processed by individual instances of Infiltrator. The Digitakt plays four additional drum samples and is also sequencing the Peak ‘midi loops’.

Getting this completed within 5 minutes was hard, but it flexed new musical muscles and taught me that music can be centred around layers, used in a way to create a foundation of texture.
