Hello everyone! Over the last year I got some questions on how to record a modular. So In this video I show in detail how I connect my eurorack system to my laptop. How to pay attention to modular signals being hot, and how to use a mixer and or interface, to guide your signals. I also show how I record my other gear, and visualize the whole setup in a handy flowchart. Finally go over how I keep everything in my studio connected via MIDI.

Key components here are the Modular, Mackie VLZ4, Mackie Onyx 12, MOTU ultralite MK3, AKAI apc key25, and a whole bunch of cables. Of course, this is just to show how I developed my workflow over time. You can take from it what you like, to develop your own!
