Yage by Entheogenic is my favorite track from the debut, self titled, Entheogenic album. It's beautiful, soaring melodies are truly inspiring and capture the feeling of your spirit flying within the realms of a sacred ceremonial setting. Entheogenic are still going strong after almost 20 years of incredible music ! "Yage" ( pronounced yah-HEY ) is another word for Ayahuasca which is a blend of two plants - the ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi) and a shrub called chacruna (Psychotria viridis), which contains the hallucinogen dimethyltryptamine (DMT). It is used by South American shamans as a means to contact the spirit realm and communicate with ancestors and spirits that guide them in healing, decision making and personal growth.
