In order to understand why the traditional watch industry is doomed, I analyze what has made the Apple watch the most successful watch of all time, its advantages and disadvantages, including the latest Series 9 edition, how the traditional watch industry has reacted to it, how they're failing, and why brands like Casio G-Shock and Frederique Constant offer more realistic alternatives and approaches. In this episode I also interview engineer turned watch entrepreneur Marc Frankel of Long Island Watch who shares his own thoughts on the past, present, and future of the watch industry.
