Ever wondered why anxiety feels so overwhelming? It all starts in the brain.

🔹 The Feeling Brain (Limbic System & Amygdala) – Detects threats and triggers the fight, flight, or freeze response. If it’s overactive, it may misinterpret harmless situations as danger.

🔹 The Thinking Brain (Frontal Lobe) – Assesses risks, plans responses, and can either calm or amplify anxiety. Overthinking can activate fear, even without real threats.

Anxiety can start in either part of the brain, creating physical and emotional symptoms. When anxiety pathways are repeatedly triggered—especially in childhood—they become more sensitive, making anxiety harder to control.

The good news is, the brain can rewire itself. With time, awareness, and the right strategies, anxiety can be managed. 💙
