When heading towards Windsor from Halifax on the 101 series highway, take Exit 5 and turn right onto Highway 14 towards Brooklyn – about 10 kilometres.
Once in Brooklyn, turn left at the cenotaph and follow Highway 215-E, yielding left at the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 215-E.
At the next intersection, turn right and travel along Highway 215-W (part of the Glooscap Trail) until you reach Cheverie – about 25 kilometres. You will pass through the communities of Centre Burlington, Summerville and Kempt.
The beach will be on the left, with a small gravel pull-off parking station. On the right will be the Cheverie Salt Marsh Trail and camera obscura, with space for a few additional vehicles.
