This is a modified Yamaha PortaSound PSS-470. This unit had broken keys, so I added a break-out box in the gap. The box contains Dr. Blankenstein's Illumiringer Basic Kit and Synthrotek's Vac Pak CV kit. The PSS-470 and it's kin share DNA with the DX7, so they are a great start for some simple mods.
This thing can scream.
