Four musicians from the city of The Hague caught wind of each other’s musical prowess and decided to join forces. The result: Van Wanko: a band whose distinctive fusion of sound, lyrics and instrumentals yields a unique ‘rock-swagger’ which is as captivating as it is explorative.
With every member of the band singing lead vocals, playing together their songcraft creates a natural ambiance that is entertaining and reflective of their blend of personalities. Their goal is to achieve a local and global following for American Britpop.
Van Wanko is set to release their album in 2020 on all digital platforms, with their first single "Waiting for a Miracle" to hit the market on 8th of May. They will also be hitting the stages as soon the current restrictions have been lifted.
