
Today I will be sharing with you one of my favorite recipes that don’t require fermentation and dal. Very easy to make. In this recipe, I used raw rice, bottlegourd and coconut. You can replace these with your favorite vegetables. These recipe provides a quick and tasty alternative to traditional fermented idli's, perfect for a fast and easy meal. I hope you like it!
👉Ingredients:
1 cup raw rice(used basmati) or sona masoori or idli rice
1 cup grated bottle gourd(lauki/sorekai)
1/2 cup fresh coconut
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp baking soda (optional)
Oil or ghee for greasing the pan or idli molds
For tempering
2 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1tsp urad dal
1 sprig curry leaves
👉Chutney Recipe:
1 cup grated coconut
2tbsp roasted peanuts
2tbsp roasted chanadal
1 inch ginger
3-4 green chilli
Few coriander leaves
1 grape size tamarind
Salt to taste
1 cup water
Tempering:
2 tsp oil
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1 broken red chilli
few curry leaves
