Brantley Gilbert ft. Toby Keith, HARDY- The Making of...The Worst Country Song of All Time | Vevo Footnotes
The first quote is the best: "It started as a joke in the writers room, and next thing we knew we were deep into a hilarious song." That's Brantley explaining where "Worst Country Song" came from. You know the video? Politicians roaming the set while the guys sing about trucks being a waste of gas, city traffic being not that big of a headache, and a suggestion to change the stars and stripes to something else? That tongue is deeply in that cheek on this catchy little gem. HARDY and BG run most of the laffs, but it's nice to see Toby Keith get a few of the best lines out towards the end. Our exclusive interview with the guys explains the whole thing. Wonder if Bill Clinton's saxophone would fit into a red solo cup?
