About Lindy Vision:

Lindy Vision is a black native (Jicarilla Apache Nation) sister band hailing from Albuquerque, NM. Comprising Dorothy and Natasha Cuylear, the duo continues their musical journey after the exit of sister Carla Cuylear in 2021. Over the past decade, Lindy Vision has developed a distinctive sound that blends moody 80's new wave, vibrant synth pop, and atmospheric indie rock. Their impressive resume includes performances with notable artists like The Specials and Spoon.

Since their debut in 2014, they have independently released four studio albums, three EPs, and various singles, reflecting their candid exploration of personal growth and sisterly bonds.

On October 11, 2024, the sister's teamed up with Casa Animalia for their first independent label release of their song “Let Go.” This track marks their first collaboration with the Animalia Music team in Santa Fe and is produced by Alex Simon. Let Go serves as an anthem of self-empowerment, embracing the freedom to move beyond the constraints of domestic life. Let Go also comes with a visually compelling video directed by Brandon Martinez. Gabriel Mezza, from the online outlet Mesmerized, describes the new single below:

A triumph of dazzling synth-wave energy, ‘Let Go’ is a decisively attractive number. Introduced by a glorious cascade of synths goodness, reminiscent of the 80s but with a distinctively modern outlook, the track then jumps into semi-new wave territories, highlighted by Lindy Vision‘s raw and sleazy vocals, often in-between singing and spoken words. The result is an expansive and vibrant anthem, one that doesn’t let the listener down.

To date, Dorothy (DD) and Natasha (NA) continue to write and perform as a duo, creating music that represents empowerment and acceptance. Together, through their music, they continue to promote Indigenous women empowerment and resilience as they continue to grow and evolve together. “1947” album was released in April of 2024. The band is currently working on their 2025 project, which continues their exploration with self-recordings and storytelling.
