A Visit to Oradour sur Glane, the Martyred Village

028 This week we visit the nearby village of Oradour sur Glane. This village was left in ruins in 1944 after German Waffen-SS troops massacred 642 men, women, and children before burning the village to the ground. Today, tourists can visit the old town of Oradour. We didn't want to create a documentary of our trip, we just wanted to share our experience as it was truly a tragic and remarkable place to visit.
