This week, the work on the driveway continues! Philippe keeps digging in front of the barns, removing about 40cm of compacted soil to improve drainage. Later, he’ll build a rock sieve to separate stones from the soil so we can reuse both for the new driveway.

Meanwhile, life on the farm carries on — Odin comes home from daycare full of energy, helping out in the kitchen as we cook and share a family dinner.

We also set up our new Reolink camera at the chicken coop to keep an eye out for predators, and later, Philippe prepares to move the caravan from under the new barn roof. With the help of our neighbor and his 4x4, we finally get the caravan out and clear the space for future projects. More progress, big and small — and we’re so excited for what’s coming next!
