Hi Friends!
Today I thought I'd share my first production using the dated, but still useful, Yamaha QY70.

A single pattern on this device will allow you to write up to 8 bars of music in 6 separate sections (Intro, Main, Fill A/B, Ending, etc.) and it will allow you to sequence 8 tracks of audio with up to 32 voice polyphony. It also features 3 FX sends per channel, pan, level, cutoff, resonance and attack, decay and release, which can take the 1997 PCM based sounds quite a bit further than one might assume. A single pattern will allow you to compose a pretty comprehensive and detailed piece of music and I haven't even gotten into the song mode yet.

It is safe to say the Yamaha QY70 is more than it appears and greater than the sum of its parts. I wasn't sure what to expect but this device has exceeded my wishes.
