They don't allow themselves to go home until they finished selling all their watermelons. A man was driving home when he spotted them so he stopped his car and go over to them.
They claimed that they come from a village where watermelons are cheap because many people grow watermelons themselves. So in order to make a living, they travel to the city every summer to sell watermelons. They don't go home until all the watermelons are sold.
They are in their 60s and this is their only way to make money. Some villagers never move out of their villages. They spend their entire lives there so their ways of making money is limited.
The man was sympathetic and offered to buy all their watermelons. And even offered to let them stay at a hotel that his friend owns for free. For the night. The couple tried to decline but the man insisted even saying he won't buy their watermelons unless they accept the offer.
They have never stayed at a hotel room before and was beyond elated. The couple delivered the watermelons to the man's company next door as promised next morning and he let his employees take as many watermelons as they wanted.
They really enjoyed the night at the hotel, and thanked the man for all his help. It was definitely one of the best day of their year. This boss deserve all his success and more.
