Ingredients:
Prepare Crispy Chicken:
-Boneless chicken fillets 3 pieces
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
-Onion powder 2 tsp
-Mustard powder ½ tsp
-Cayenne powder ½ tsp (optional)
-Dried oregano 1 tsp
-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ tbs
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Dried basil 1 tsp
-Paprika powder 2 tsp
-Anday (Eggs) whisked 2 or as required
-Corn flakes crushed 1 Cup
-Cooking oil
Prepare Special Sauce (Low calorie):
-Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup
-Light mayonnaise 3-4 tbs
-Mustard paste 1 tbs
-Hot sauce 2 tbs
-Pickled jalapenos chopped 2 tbs
-Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp or to taste
-Paprika powder ¼ tsp
Assembling:
-Multigrain bread slices as required
-Iceberg shredded
-Tamatar (Tomato) slices
Directions:
Prepare Crispy Chicken:
-Pound chicken fillet from one side with the help of meat mallet.
-In a small bowl,add red chilli powder,pink salt,onion powder,mustard powder,cayenne pepper,dried oregano,garlic powder,black pepper powder,dried parsley,paprika powder & mix well.
-Sprinkle prepared spice mix on both sides of each chicken fillet & rub gently (reserve 1 tbs of prepared spice mix for later use) & marinate for 15 minutes.
-In corn flakes,add reserved 1 tbs of prepared spice mix & mix well.
-Dip marinated chicken fillets in whisked eggs than coat with corn flakes.
-In an air fryer bsaket,place coated chicken fillets,spray cooking oil & air fry at 170°C for 12-15 minutes (Turn sides in between).
Prepare Special Sauce (Low calorie):
-In a bowl,add yogurt,light mayonnaise,mustard paste,hot sauce,pickled jalapeno,pink salt,paprika powder & mix well.
Assembling:
-On a multigrain bread slice,add & spread prepared special sauce,add iceberg,crispy chicken fillet,tomato slices, prepared sauce & cover with another slice to make a sandwich.
