One of the most important bands that the Greek rock scene has to offer is En Plo. En Plo is a peculiar case of a band, which from the narrow and limited musical events of the 80s, passed into our consciousness and became a legend that still haunts hearts in a magical way. En Plo was created by Dino Sadikis around in 1984, along with a band of four like-minded people about music. The band wrote very good music combining rock with traditional Greek forms as well as rebetika music. In 1987 they record a demo with 10 songs and start sending it to various companies but without any positive response. In 1988 the first contact with Penguin is made. Then a friend of Dino's Sadikis, Andreas Christofilis, was found, who also put in the money for the production of their first album. The album started recording in November '88 and after a few months it was ready. However, its recording did not satisfy the band, which finally re-recorded the album in early '89. En Plo is a ghost band. They disappeared before they really appeared at the end of the 80s, and yet they are for many a point of reference for Greek-speaking - and in general Greek-origin - rock. In fact they remain a relatively unknown group, partly by choice. They released only one record (and one more by Sadikis).
When the 1000 copies of "En Plo" sold out, they did not take advantage of the very good reviews in the press and showed no interest in printing more. And yet, they didn't care about the concerts.
