CYCHOTIC (2.0) is a Live AV performance by Max Dahlhaus and Defasten. Deconstructing our understanding of futurism, cyberpunk, science-fiction, and post-industrial landscapes, its existence challenges and reshapes our sense of immersion through highly dynamic audio-reactive set pieces traversing layers of meta-reality, in real-time digital 3D.

Merging elements of club and experimental with cinematic abstraction, the music weaves visceral sonic textures that bursts to reform into complex digital visions, calling towards an unstable new virtual era, like a synthetic digital exoskeleton in rapid evolution, holding together a decaying Anthropocene.

At its core, CYCHOTIC frames a perspective on the cultural clash of our present-day over-reliance/addiction with digital hypermodernity, materializing (un)known signifiers that bridge our insight into the technological, traditional, mythological, all at the intersection of Eastern and Western civilization.
