Will Scotland leave the UK !?
In 2014 an independence referendum was hold in Scotland but 55 % of voters opted to remain in the UK because Scotland would no longer be part of EU if it left the UK.
After Brexit, the Scotland prime minister wanted to hold another referendum for independence, but this was not approved by the British government. Polls show that if a referendum were held today, 51% of Scots would vote to remain in the UK, so the result would be very close.
If leaving the UK, Scotland will be able to join the EU, but colder relations with the other countries in the UK would mean a great danger from an economic point of view for Scotland, the members of the UK being the main economic partners of Scotland.
However, it is unlikely that another independence referendum will be allowed by the British government in the near future.
