This first self-titled release is my favorite from Mephisto Walz, when the were still a four piece band led by a male vocalist. I was unable to find much of this on YouTube, so I uploaded it here. History:
Mephisto Walz are legendary for their contributions to the death rock genre, having been an inspiration to a whole host of contemporary gothic artists. Mephisto Walz was formed by Barry Galvin in 1985 after having departed from death rock progenitors Christian Death.
