Over the course of two months in spring 1992 an unidentified man would strike at least five times in different cities along the highway, killing 6 store clerks in quiet shopping plazas using a particular method and gun.

But what if he didn’t stop there? A similar crime spree would happen in Texas the following year and other murders the next decade have had similarities.

In 2021 the FBI would join a task force with the goal of capturing this serial killer before he could strike again. Three years later, though witnesses and DNA exist, they have still not had any luck in identifying the man known only as the I 70 Killer.
