This is a 4-hour odyssey of ambient Tangerine Dream moments. It was made by Dean De Benedictis, aka electronic musician Surface 10, in honor of TD and the late Edgar Froese. The mix focuses more on TD's moody ambient side, which was often overlooked because of the band's diversity of tempos and sub-genres. Tangerine Dream's historic and undeniable influence on the evolution of electronic music can be heard throughout this mix. It features their first two decades, 70s and 80s, and leans a little more towards the period when Johannes Schmoelling was the third member of the band (early 80s).
