
This allows me to control the speed of the motor by adjusting the resistance of the potentiometer. The Z44 MOSFET is able to handle the current required to drive the DC motor, and by using pulse-width modulation (PWM) to control the voltage applied to the motor, I can vary its speed smoothly.
I also included a flyback diode across the motor to protect the MOSFET from voltage spikes when the motor is turned off. Overall, this controller setup is simple and effective for controlling the speed of a DC motor.
